Teroson Cavity Spray - IDH: 794224

Teroson Terotex Cavity Spray is a solvent-based product designed for cavity protection. It is a thin, slightly thixotropic liquid in a spray that reaches even into narrow spaces if you use a special attachment nozzle. The cavity spray seeps into the cavities and displaces moisture. The product contains a large proportion of corrosion inhibitors.

The cavity spray is sprayed into a very fine mist that has an exceptional ability to seep, penetrate well into areas intended for corrosion protection (e.g. welds) and does not leak from such areas (in the event of excessive product spraying and dripping). The product can be applied even at a temperature of 10°C, but the capillary action is guaranteed at room temperature of both the body and the product.

After complete drying, the product creates a fine, water-resistant, light beige, almost transparent film.

Application areas:

Solids content: approx. 50% (active ingredients)

Behavior in paint drying oven: no dripping (after complete drying) (1.5 hours at 60°C)

Corrosion resistance: Salt spray test according to DIN 50021: no corrosion, no corrosion (hours)

Processing temperature: 15°C to 25°C

Operating temperature: -40°C to 90°C

Short-term (up to 1 hour): 100°C

Preparation: Remove rust if possible. For inaccessible places (e.g. semi-closed door cavities, etc.) use a special nozzle attached to the lid. Replace the current aerosol spray head with this nozzle.

The material should be at room temperature when used. If you store the product for a long time or if you store it at a temperature below 10°C, the product becomes more thixotropic. Therefore, shake the package thoroughly before use until you hear the ball rattling inside the package.

Application:

Spray the cleaned parts (free of dust and grease) evenly, holding the can vertically during spraying. If you use a special nozzle, move the can slowly in circles so that the entire space is filled with the product. The aerosol sprayer and the cavity nozzle ensure coverage, fine and even application of the product (e.g. vehicle chassis) and subsequently an excellent appearance. A gentle spray of rubber and plastic parts restores their appearance.

Cleaning:

The cavity protection spray can be wiped off very easily. Dried material can be removed with the cleaner - FL. Remove any stains on the painted surface immediately.
