Product description:

Terotex – Record 2000 black HS is a protective solvent-based coating without added bitumen. After complete drying, the coating shows protection against continuous elastic corrosion with good ageing characteristics. The coating effectively resists cracking at low temperatures, mainly due to the combination of starting materials. The dried film adheres well to clean surfaces, as well as to surfaces with a coating and a PVC surface. The film shows very good abrasion resistance.
Painting with classic paints (regular or water-based) used in the automotive industry is possible under the following conditions:

• let the paint dry for at least 16 hours
• apply the paint with a fine spray before the final coat> after the base paint has started to dry
• subsequent drying in a drying oven at 60°C is possible

Application areas:

Terotex – Record 2000 black HS is suitable for repairs of vehicle chassis, wheel arches, front and rear aprons, protection against flying debris, spoilers, stone chips on doors.
The preparation is used as a protective coating for painted parts or surfaces treated with primer on the vehicle chassis and for repairs of PVC and rubber/resin-based paints.
Terotex – Record 2000 black HS is also suitable for damping vibrations of wheel arches and side welds, around welds and laps.

It is essential to read the product safety data sheet for information on preventive measures and safety recommendations. Even with chemical products exempt from mandatory labeling, it is always necessary to follow appropriate safety precautions.

Before application:

The surface to which Terotex – record 2000 black HS will be applied must be well cleaned and free of rust. The surface must be clean, free of grease, dirt and dust. Cover the surfaces that you do not want to paint with paper.
If you are applying the product to the chassis of a new car, it is necessary to remove the protective wax using steam. In the case of an older vehicle, pay attention to removing all rust using a wire brush.

Usage:

Terotex – record 2000 black HS is applied using a Teroson – UBS application gun from 1l cans; application pressure: 4 – 5 bar. Shake the can before use. Do not leave the can open to prevent the material from drying out (and forming a crust on the surface).
On a horizontal surface, the protective coating can be applied in one step with a wet layer thickness of up to 1 mm. To prevent uncoated areas, apply the material with strokes in different directions (crosswise). Under favorable conditions, the vehicle is ready to drive off 2-4 hours after application. Complete drying takes 24-48 hours.

Important note:

Do not spray on the joint, drive shaft, engine, exhaust and brake system. After use, thoroughly rinse the Teroson - UBS application gun and clean it with Cleaner - FL. FL.
