Terodicht - black is a pasty, easily processed, peelable compound based on butyl rubber with a low solvent content, which can be applied from cartridges. After the solvent has evaporated, the material remains permanently elastic, resistant to aging and weathering, and which perfectly seals the joints between the car glass, rubber profile and window frame. Excess material can be easily peeled off from the glass and paintwork, because cohesion (internal strength) is greater than adhesion (adhesion). It seals primarily between the rubber profile and the window frame or also between the rubber profile and glass. Terodicht - black can also be used to seal metal cover strips and decorative strips in bodywork. Terodicht - black provides excellent sealing of new rubber profiles on a clean surface. If the glass is damp or the substrate is dirty, we recommend using Terodicht - elastic.Technical data:

The contact surfaces must be cleaned of anti-adhesive particles or dirt residues; a certain amount of moisture does not impair adhesion. However, before sealing the leaking glass panes, it is necessary to remove excess water remaining in the profiles with a stream of compressed air. The sealed surfaces must be dry and free of anti-adhesive substances and dirt residues. Terodicht - black is applied so that all cavities are filled. However, too much sealant must not be sprayed into the joints - the sealing rubber profile must fit cleanly against the body and glass after sealing. It cannot be prevented that excess material is squeezed out of the joint. The leaked material is roughly removed with a wooden spatula. The remaining film is removed with Terostat tape after about 10 minutes after application, which rolls it into a ball.
