Teroson Terostat MS 939 white is a one-component sealant for sealing components and structural bonding. It is based on MS-polymer, low modulus and cures with atmospheric moisture to a flexible product. The curing speed depends on the thickness of the applied bead and the ambient air humidity. These times can be reduced by increasing the temperature and air humidity. Too low a temperature as well as low air humidity will slow down the curing process. Teroson Terostat MS 939 white is free from solvents, isocyanates, silicones and PVC and is also odorless. Teroson MS 939 is compatible with suitable coating systems. The adhesive is UV-resistant, so it can be used for indoor and outdoor applications. Instructions for use:
Apply the sealant from the cartridge to a clean, properly prepared surface. Non-stick surface in about 20 minutes. Polymerizes with atmospheric moisture. Suitable application temperature: +5 to +40 C
Adhesion:
Terostat MS 939 white has excellent adhesion to most common materials: sheet steel (degreased raw, phosphated, hot-dip or galvanically galvanized, chrome-plated); stainless steel, brass, aluminum (raw, ground, anodized); glass; polyamide, PVC, PUR-RIM, polyester, EPDM, most thermoplastic mixtures. When bonding plastics or painted surfaces, especially with powder coatings, we recommend checking the adhesion by testing. Mold separators are often used when molding plastics. These separators must be removed before bonding. Depending on the type of substrate, a surface activator may be necessary to achieve optimal adhesion. • Clean the bonded parts thoroughly with ERGO 9190 cleaner, 500 ml pack TEROSON MS 939 is a black/white/grey, flexible, silane-modified polymer sealant, odourless, which is used. The product cures to an elastomer. The cured product has good UV resistance. It is resistant to sag and has a high initial tack (depending on the size of the joint and the weight of the bonded parts). Non-corrosive and free of solvents, isocyanates, silicones and PVC. The curing speed can be accelerated by using LOCTITE MS 9371B.
