Terostat 8597 Rapid Sealant for Direct Glazing is a one-component, moisture-curing sealant with excellent bead stability based on polyurethane, which hardens to a slightly elastic material in contact with air humidity. The skin formation time and the curing time depend on the air humidity and temperature, the curing time also depends on the depth of the joint. By reducing the temperature and air humidity, you extend the time until the skin formation and curing, low air humidity and temperature values prolong the reaction of the material.

Area of application: Bonding of windscreens, rear and side windows to the bodies of motor vehicles (passenger cars, buses, trucks, tractor and forklift cabs and special vehicles). Single or double window panes of buses and railway wagons.

Possibility of leaving the repaired vehicle with airbag: in 2 hours.

Terostat 8597 HMLC

TEROSON® PU 8597 HMLC is a one-component direct glazing adhesive used where reliable safety is required. The tested safe exit time is 1 hour according to the American FMVSS standard and 4 hours according to the most stringent European crash test standard. The best results are achieved when using the TEROSON® POWERLINE II air pressure gun. It is recommended to use TEROSON® VR 100 cleaner and TEROSON® ET SPONGE to prepare the bonded joints before applying the primer.
