SURFACE PREPARATION

free from all grease, oil and other contaminants. For cleaning glass, painted and cataphoretically applied coatings (E-coat) use approved cleaners. Henkel Primer should be used in accordance with prior agreement with the Technical Service.

APPLICATION

We recommend the use of fully heated application systems. However, in some cases, partial heating may be sufficient. - All application equipment, including hoses and pipes, must be sealed against moisture. - The floating plate must be driven by a double piston. - The container must be centered. - We recommend switching off the heating when working for more than 1 hour. - The adhesive is dispensed from drums or barrels using a high-pressure piston pump with a pneumatic ratio of at least 55:1. Due to the varying conditions of use of the product, we recommend adhering to the data in the currently valid technical data sheet. The application data sheet also contains the necessary information on suitable application equipment and conditions of use. For any further information, please contact your local Henkel technical sales office. It is used for the assembly of front, rear and side screens on the bodies of motor, utility, specialty and rail vehicles. The pot life is reached 8 hr after the glass has been bonded (crash-norm: FMVSS 208 / 212). Full kit consists of the following: 1 x 310 ml PU cartridge 8590, 1 x 10 ml bottle PU 8517 H, 1 x cleaning tissue, 1 x DGX nozzle (red), 1 x wool door, 1 pair of spacers and operations.
