If you are bonding surfaces with high thermal conductivity, observe the application temperature, which is important for surface wetting. The bonded surfaces must be clean, dry and free of lubricants, separators and dust. Do not heat the product above the specified application temperature. Do not heat the product for a long time, except when in use, as this could lead to a decrease in the quality of the adhesive or its carbonization. Macromelt OM 657 can absorb air moisture. This is not visible on the adhesive in the solid state, but it is manifested by foaming when the adhesive melts. This causes weaker bonds in the blind area. Close the packaging tightly as soon as possible.
CLEANING
Remove heavily carbonized adhesive and melted residues mechanically. We recommend a solvent-free cleaner for hot devices, e.g. Macromelt XS 0062 (see separate technical data sheet).
