SKF Explorer bearing 609 2Z C3 - non-separable single row deep groove ball bearing with a steel cage guided by balls with non-contact sheet metal seals on both sides and with higher radial clearance than normal. The cover plates of the 609-2Z C3 bearing are pressed into the grooves of the outer ring and fit snugly against the smooth inner ring. The 609 2Z C3 bearing is designed for mounting with a rotating inner ring and is filled with high-quality grease with a temperature range of -40 °C to +100 °C for the entire service life of the bearing. If the outer ring rotates, grease leakage may occur at higher speeds. SKF 609-2Z/C3 Explorer class bearings represent a new group of high-performance rolling bearings, offering a significant increase in the main operating parameters, such as noise, vibration, heat generation, higher normality and operational reliability, dynamic load capacity. Dimensional accuracy corresponds to accuracy class P6.
