The cylinder head screw with internal hexagon according to DIN 912, ISO 4762 and ČSN 021143 is designed for fixed screw connections with high preload. This screw is made of steel of strength class 12.9, which guarantees high strength and resistance to mechanical stress. Strength class 12.9 means that the minimum yield strength is 1080 MPa and the minimum tensile strength is 1200 MPa, which makes it suitable for use in demanding applications where high demands are placed on the reliability and safety of connections.

The screw has a metric M4 thread with a diameter of 4 mm and a thread pitch of 0.70 mm. The thread length is 20 mm, which allows sufficient grip in the material. The cylindrical head has a diameter of 7 mm and a height of 4 mm, while the internal hexagon is designed for assembly using an Allen key, which ensures simple and effective assembly even in limited spaces. The width B1, i.e. the width of the head, is 3 mm.

The surface treatment of the screw is untreated or blackened, which provides basic protection against corrosion, however, for applications in corrosive environments, additional surface treatment is recommended.
