Product detailed description

The cylinder head screw with internal hexagon according to DIN 912, ISO 4762 and ČSN 021143 is designed for fixed screw connections with high preload. This type of screw is suitable for assembly using an Allen key, which allows for efficient torque transmission and ensures reliable tightening of the connections.

The screw has a metric thread with a diameter of M18 and a length of 220 mm. It is made of steel of strength class 12.9, which means that it has high tensile strength and is able to withstand significant mechanical loads. Strength class 12.9 indicates that the minimum tensile strength is 1200 MPa and the minimum yield strength is 1080 MPa, which predetermines it for use in demanding applications where high mechanical properties are required.

The surface treatment of the screw is without additional treatments, which means that it is blackened, but without additional corrosion protection. Therefore, it is suitable primarily for indoor applications or environments where it is not exposed to aggressive corrosive influences.

The shape of the head is cylindrical, which allows it to be embedded in the material and minimizes protrusion above the surface, thereby reducing the risk of mechanical damage or seizure. The screw is ideal for use in mechanical engineering, in the assembly of machines and equipment, where high strength and reliability of joints are required.
