Pattex Repair Special Plasty (Special adhesive for plastics)

Pattex Repair Special Plasty is a highly effective polyurethane-based adhesive that is specially designed for bonding hardened and soft plastics. Due to its versatility, it is ideal for combination with various other materials such as rubber, leather, ceramics, wood, metal and textiles. This adhesive is intended for use with materials such as hardened and softened PVC, ABS, Plexiglas and polycarbonate. Not recommended for bonding PP, PE, PTFE and polystyrene.

Advantages:

Applicator Plastics is ideal for use in the automotive industry, households, workshops and for the repair of various plastic objects. Examples include repairs to plastic covers, containers, toys and other plastic components.

Typical properties:

Before curing, the adhesive forms a solid film that is dry to the touch. After curing, the joint is transparent and resistant to water and shock.

Use for application:

It is recommended to use standard application tools such as brushes or spatulas. After using the tool, clean it with thinner or cleaning benzine.

Coverage:

For double-sided application, the consumption is 250 - 350 g/m², which allows you to cover a larger area with less adhesive.

Note. Make sure that the surfaces to be glued are dry, clean and free of grease. If possible, roughen the surfaces.

2. Apply the adhesive evenly to both surfaces and allow to air out for 5-10 minutes.

3. After airing out, press both surfaces together. The strength of the joint depends on the force of the pressure.

4. Work at a temperature of +18 to +25 °C.

5. Keep the adhesive tightly closed during breaks.

Packaging:

Available in a 30 g tube.

Storage:

Store in the original closed packaging at room temperature. Protect from temperatures below +5 °C and above +50 °C. The storage period is 24 months from the date of production.
