Bonding on absorbent substrates: Bond highly absorbent substrates (e.g. wood) with a larger amount of adhesive. In some cases, it is good to apply adhesive to both bonded surfaces. Bonding painted surfaces: Pattex 100% can also be applied to painted surfaces. In this case, however, we recommend performing a compatibility test with the given surface. The surface must be clean, dry, free of dust and grease. 2. On non-absorbent substrates, apply a thin layer of glue to one glued surface, on absorbent substrates, apply to both glued surfaces. Choose the amount of glue according to the absorbency of the substrate. The more absorbent, the more glue. 3. Immediately after applying the glue, fix the glued surfaces for at least 30 minutes with even pressure on the entire glued surface. 4.
