The 28 x 4 O-ring is a rubber seal designed to prevent the loss of liquid or gas. The sealing ability depends not only on the O-ring, but also on the installation space. The O-ring is an annulus, a ring with a circular cross-section. The installation space, usually a groove, serves to accommodate the O-ring. The connection of the O-ring elements and the sealed space creates a seal.The material EPDM - ethylene-propylene rubber is suitable for steam and hot water, resistant to some pressure fluids (brake fluids), diluted acids and alkalis (washing lye).
