Molykote E Paste is a solid lubricating paste for metals, plastics, rubbers and laminates, designed specifically for long-term and permanent lubrication of dry metal/plastic and plastic/plastic combinations, as well as metal/oil-resistant rubber combinations. Molykote E Paste is suitable for plain bearings and sliding surfaces that are exposed to high loads and is particularly suitable for parts made of glass laminate. lubrication thanks to a number of excellent properties:
high load capacity,
low coefficient of friction,
minimal volatility of the lubricant,
compatibility with most plastics and rubber,
high resistance of the lubricating paste to oxidation,
zero drop point properties of the paste even at very low temperatures.
Molykote E Paste lubricating paste is successfully used in the automotive industry, e.g. as a lubricant for adjusting vehicle seats, automatically controlled car antennas, switches, roof ski racks, etc. It is also used for plain bearings and furniture hinge bushings.
