Molykote D is an excellent metal assembly paste containing solid lubricants, which is intended for assembly and running-in of metal components. This assembly paste is designed for friction surfaces that will be exposed to high loads and low speeds.
Molykote D assembly paste is a frequently used lubricant in the food, beverage and textile industries and in the production of plastics, where a good appearance of the contact surface is important and where it is required:
·running-in of sliding surfaces,
·good protection against corrosion,
·excellent protection of surfaces against vibration corrosion,·temperature range of the lubricant from -25 °C to +250 °C,·elimination and exclusion of jerky sliding and seizing,
·application with a brush, a piece of cloth or even hand coatings. Molykote D lubricant is successfully used in a wide range of industries, e.g. for lubricating contact surfaces of electronic household appliances, for lubricating office equipment, precision instruments, etc. Molykote DX multi-purpose white grease is recommended wherever it is not possible to apply a thin layer of lubricant.
