Molykote D-321 R AFC is an air-curing, premium dry metal lubricant that offers extreme temperature resistance. Molykote D-321 R AFC sliding varnish is designed for coating metal/metal surfaces (ideal for fluctuating sliding speeds or intermittent operation), operating at low to medium speeds and high loads.
Molykote dry metal lubricant has a number of excellent properties and application options:
·improvement of the running-in process, ·elimination of jerky sliding,
·highly resistant sliding varnish against aging,
·wide temperature range from -180 °C to +450 °C,
·long-term lubrication in high-stress and extreme temperature lubrication,
·sliding varnish for achieving score-free cold extrusion of steel.
Molykote D-321 R AFC sliding varnish is used e.g. for lubricating expansion friction surfaces on steel structures, lubricating threaded connections of alloys, fitting screws, switches or for lubricating surfaces during running-in of highly stressed gears. Its further use is as a high-performance lubricant for the automotive industry, e.g. as a lubricant for car mirror control mechanisms.
