Molykote 1292 is a special high-temperature fluorosilicone metal grease that offers excellent resistance to extreme pressure and a wide range of operating temperatures. Molykote 1292 fluorosilicone does not oxidize and is particularly suitable for long-term lubrication of two metal surfaces. The high drop point (> 250 ° C) greatly reduces the risk of melting and leakage of the grease from the lubrication point at high operating temperatures.
Molykote 1292 grease is a silicone whose molecules contain fluorine atoms. This type of lubricant is intended for use in the lubrication of metal/metal surfaces operating at low to medium speeds and medium loads, where it offers a number of excellent properties:
·extremely low oxidation tendency,
·high resistance to water or water washout,
·permanent lubrication against mineral oils, fuels and many chemicals,
·temperature range of use from -40°C to +200°C (short-term up to +230°C).
