Molykote 1102 is a special mineral grease (mineral oil-based grease) for valves, gas fittings or gas taps with metal joints or for valves whose construction contains glass or plastics. Molykote 1102 special grease is suitable for all types of gas taps and valves. 1102 offers ideal use wherever requirements are made for properties: good oxidation resistance, lubricating grease resistant to contact with gas, grease for metal, plastic or glass valves, temperature resistance of the grease up to 160°C, diluted acids and many chemicals, zero drop point (prevention of melting or leakage of the grease from the application site).
