Silicone rubber with the highest temperature resistance Lukopren N 5541
- production of simpler, fewer molds without an auxiliary bed for subsequent casting of low-melting metals - tin, lead, antimony (contains a heat stabilizer for the silicone binder, can withstand up to 320 °C for a short time)
- production of temperature-resistant castings, pads, suction cups
- layers (easily removable due to low adhesion to the substrate)
- preparation of detachable flange seals (heating and cooling units)
- potting and encapsulating electrical equipment with subsequent use at higher temperatures (mechanical and weathering rubber vulcanization requires precise dosing of Lukopren Catalyst N (more details in the technical sheets below)
- the vulcanizate has very low adhesion to most substrates (can peel off), to increase it, it is necessary to use a primer - if necessary, we recommend a template for easier demoulding; silicone molds do not separate during use due to their self-separating properties
- the rubber paste is difficult to recolor due to the original rich red-brown color (Pigment pastes)
- silicone rubber S - for bonding Lukoprene N 5541, Lukoprene S 9780 (brick shade) is suitable
