Loctite 5331 is an excellent universal silicone paste (acetoxy silicone) of medium viscosity (gel), which is ideal for sealing threaded pipe parts made of plastic and metal up to thread size: M80 / R3 inch. It hardens under the influence of atmospheric moisture and creates a low-strength flexible seal:
·for immediate sealing at low pressure,·for hot and cold drinking water distribution,
·for plastic/plastic or plastic/metal threaded connections,·for plastic threaded components and metal fittings,
drainage systems.
Loctite 5331 threadlocker is safe for health. Loctite 5331 threadlocker is approved in Slovakia for use in contact with drinking water, approved by German DVGW regulations (NG-5146 AR 0618) and KTW for gases for gases up to 85°C (P1 NSF reg. no.: 123620)
and is tested according to EN 751-1.
