Loctite 7414 is an excellent chemical liquid seal designed for visual inspection of the mutual movement of parts and precisely adjusted components. This detection paste dries very quickly and is used in industrial production for simple marking of parts and assemblies. After being removed and tightened to the exact mutual position, this paste marks the mutual position of pipe fittings, joints, bolts, the position of screws relative to nuts, etc. Service technicians can then very easily determine whether there have been any changes in the precise positioning of individual components. Loctite 7414 liquid seal offers a number of excellent properties in the area of detecting unauthorized manipulation of parts: very fast hardening on the surface, liquid seal without corrosive effects +145 °C, · excellent adhesion to metals, steel, aluminum, titanium, stainless steel and copper.
This product should normally be applied in the temperature range of 15 to 25 °C. Higher temperatures will shorten the drying time. Instructions for use of Loctite 7414 liquid seal: 1.
