Loctite Frekote FMS (IDH 381044 / FK5160L50) is a solvent-based filler designed to seal micropores and surface imperfections in molds made of fiberglass reinforced polyester, epoxies and other composite materials. This product is ideal for new and repaired molds where a smooth and uniform surface is required, significantly improving the effectiveness of subsequent release agents. The product provides a glossy surface and ensures rapid curing at room temperature.

Use for application:

• Apply with a cotton pad.
• Apply each layer and wait 15–20 seconds, then wipe the surface dry with a dry cloth.
• Apply 1 to 3 layers with an interval of 15–20 minutes between layers, depending on the porosity of the mold.

1. Surface preparation: Before applying Frekote release agents, thoroughly clean the mold with Loctite Frekote PMC. This universal cleaner reliably removes wax and other contaminants from the surface without scratching or matting it.
