Loctite Frekote FMS (IDH 381038 / FK5160L01A) is a solvent-based filler designed to seal micropores and surface imperfections in molds made of fiberglass reinforced polyester, epoxies and other materials. This product is ideal for new and repaired molds where a smooth and uniform surface is required, significantly improving the effectiveness of subsequent release agents. The product provides a glossy surface and ensures rapid curing at room temperature.

Application: Loctite Frekote FMS is ideal for use on new or repaired composite molds that require ute. Typically used in the automotive, aerospace and marine industries in the production of composite parts where quality mold surface finish and high material separation efficiency are required. Use for application:

• Apply with a cotton pad.
• Apply each layer and wait 15–20 seconds, then wipe the surface dry with a dry cloth.
• Apply 1 to 3 layers with an interval of 15–20 minutes between layers, depending on the porosity of the mold.

1. Surface preparation: Before applying Frekote release agents, thoroughly clean the mold with Loctite Frekote PMC. This universal cleaner reliably removes wax and other contaminants from the surface without scratching or matting it. Using Frekote PMC will increase the effectiveness of the release and ensure long-term protection of the mold. 7850 , which is suitable for effective hand cleaning. This biodegradable cleaner will remove oils, greases and other contaminants.

Instructions for use:

1. Ensure that the mold is clean and free of residue from previous release agents.
2. Apply a thin layer. cloth.
3. Wait 15–20 seconds and then wipe the surface dry.
4. Apply additional coats as needed, with a drying time of 15–20 minutes between coats.

Storage: Store the product at a temperature between 8 °C and 21 °C. Storage below 8 °C or above 28 °C may negatively affect the product properties.
