Loctite EA 9450 (also known as Loctite 9450) - IDH 451262 is a fast-curing two-component epoxy adhesive suitable for a wide range of materials such as plastics. EA 9450 is intended for bonding components, household appliances, electronics and optical fibers and repairs in general industry. The non-sag property of this product makes it particularly suitable for use on vertical surfaces where it prevents the product from running off the bonding area. Especially suitable for filling joints and vertical applications (non-flowing paste until it hardens), for bonding steel and stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass.

For professional application, we recommend purchasing the following accessories: 50 ml

• Apply using a cartridge adapter - Loctite 97956 mechanical Loctite 96001
• Or applicator Loctite 97042
• Replacement mixing mixers Loctite 984569 (one piece is included with the adhesive)
• Before applying, clean the part with Loctite SF 7063 super cleaner

Instructions for use:

1. For best degreasing.
2. The resin and hardener must be mixed thoroughly before use. The product can be applied directly from the double cartridges through the supplied static mixer. In this case, squeeze the first 3 to 5 cm into the waste. When using a larger package of the product, mix both components thoroughly in the exact ratio by volume or weight, as stated in the Product Description. When mixing by hand, weigh or measure the required amount of resin and hardener and mix them thoroughly. Mix for about 15 seconds after you obtain a uniform color of the product.
3. We recommend not mixing more than 20 g of product at a time due to the formation of unwanted heat and overheating during the reaction of both components. Mixing a smaller amount will prevent unwanted heating of the product.
4. After mixing, apply the product as quickly as possible to one of the surfaces to be bonded. For maximum bond strength, spread the product evenly over both surfaces. The parts should be bonded immediately after application of the mixed adhesive.
5. For information on pot life, see section - Typical Properties of Uncured Material. Higher temperatures and smaller amounts of product processed will shorten the pot life.
6. Prevent possible movement of the assembled parts while the product is curing. The bonded joint should be left undisturbed until it has gained full strength before the parts are put into service.
