Loctite Hysol 3479 HTA is a two-part epoxy adhesive with aluminum filler. This superior epoxy sealant has high temperature resistance up to 190°C and is ideal for refurbishing worn or damaged machine parts and for bonding steel - including stainless steel, aluminum, copper or brass. Aluminum-filled Loctite 3479 sealant is an excellent non-flowing oxide sealant for castings, pipes, housings, keyways, flanges or weldments. Loctite 3479 has low shrinkage, does not corrode and perfectly fills joints up to 1 mm - these properties are used in many areas, where this industrial sealant allows:
·sealing leaking pipes,
·applying protective coatings,
·leveling thermally stressed surfaces,
·leveling thermally stressed surfaces, molds,
·repairing metal parts used at high operating temperatures.
