Loctite Hysol 3472 ST2 is a liquid two-component epoxy adhesive (liquid sealant with steel filler) designed for the repair and renovation of metal parts or worn machine parts. This top-quality steel sealant is a gray liquid that does not corrode, has low shrinkage, and is therefore suitable for bonding cracks in machine housings, repairing pipes, castings or tools. It can also be used as a modeling compound for making molds, models, etc.
Loctite Hysol 3472 steel-filled epoxy adhesive is ideal for repairing and bonding metals: steel (including stainless steel), copper, aluminum or brass. Since this sealant is liquid (viscosity liquid), it is also suitable for filling joints up to 1 mm, when surface restoration of damaged parts is required. Typical applications of Loctite 3472 include:

·application of protective coatings,
·repairs of leaking pipe seals,
·repairs of shafts, keyways and flanges,
