Instructions for use:

1. For best bonding results, the surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry. mix the resin and hardener thoroughly. The product can be applied directly from the double cartridges through the static mixer supplied. In this case, squeeze the first 3 to 5 cm into the waste. When using a larger product package, mix both components thoroughly in the exact ratio by volume or weight.
2. When mixing by hand, weigh or measure the required amount of resin and hardener and mix them thoroughly. Mix for about 15 seconds after you have obtained a uniform color of the product.
3. We recommend not mixing more than 4 kg of product at a time due to the generation of unwanted heat and overheating during the reaction of both components. Mixing a smaller amount will prevent unwanted heating of the product.
4. After mixing, apply the product as quickly as possible to one of the bonded surfaces. To obtain maximum bond strength, spread the product evenly over both surfaces. The parts should be joined immediately after application of the mixed adhesive.
5. Higher temperature and smaller amounts of product processed shorten the pot life.
6. Prevent possible movement of the assembled parts during the curing of the product. The bonded joint should be left undisturbed until it has gained full strength before the parts are put into service.
7. The flow of uncured product can be wiped off using organic solvents (e.g. acetone).
8. After use, before the adhesive hardens, clean the mixing and application tools.

The multipurpose two-component epoxy adhesive Loctite 3421 is intended for bonding large surfaces that require a longer time for precise time. It is particularly suitable for bonding metals, plastics, glass, ceramics, wood and many other materials that are to be exposed to high humidity. It cures slowly after mixing at room temperature. Loctite 3421 provides high strength and excellent resistance to humidity. Due to its ability to fill gaps up to 1 mm, it can also be used to join unmachined or non-adjacent parts.

For best bonding results, the surfaces to be bonded should be clean and degreased. Where aqueous solutions are used to clean surfaces prior to bonding, it is important to check the compatibility of the cleaning solution and the product. In some cases, aqueous solutions may adversely affect the curing and properties of the product.
