Loctite F246 is a one-component, universal structural adhesive based on acrylic. It cures exclusively when used with Loctite No.5 activator, when fixation occurs within one minute. The resulting bond is chemically resistant, very strong - able to transfer loads and tough. Loctite F246 adhesive can replace fasteners or welding. [min]

One-component adhesive Loctite F246 is intended for universal constructions. It is a high-strength adhesive based on acrylic with an activator. It cures exclusively when used simultaneously with Loctite No.5 activator, and within one minute. The resulting joint is chemically resistant, very strong - able to transfer loads and tough. Loctite F246 adhesive can replace fasteners or welding.

The recommended joint size is 0.1 mm. If the joint is larger (maximum up to 0.5 mm), or faster curing is required, Loctite No.5 Activator should be applied to both surfaces. The components must then be assembled immediately (within 1 minute).

Not recommended:

• for use in pure oxygen or oxygen-rich systems and should not be used to seal chlorine or other strongly oxidizing materials.

    LOCTITE® AA F246 / LOCTITE® SF INI5 is a kit containing a two-component acrylic structural adhesive and an activator, usually Initiator No. 5. The adhesive cures quickly after mixing with the activator. When using Initiator No. 5, fixation is ensured within 1 minute and handling strength is achieved very quickly. The 320ml F246 kit is supplied with a 35ml bottle of Initiator No. 5.
