Loctite 3038 is an excellent structural adhesive for polyolefins, especially designed for bonding coated metals (ECS) to glass-filled polypropylene (PPGF). Another suitable application is for bonding difficult-to-bond PO plastics such as PP, PE LDPE and HDPE. The advantage of Loctite 3038 is that it bonds without the need for surface pretreatment. Loctite 3038 is a two-component acrylic adhesive with a thixotropic nature that prevents it from running off the application site and contains a 0.25 mm filler to ensure minimal gaps.
