Loctite 640 is an excellent high strength, single component acrylic adhesive with extended pot life, designed for bonding and securing bearings and roller assemblies. This sealant is suitable for bonding metals, especially brass components, where it effectively prevents loosening and leakage of the bonded joint. It withstands vibration or shock and offers high strength joining of fitted cylindrical components where it is required:
·bonding brass and active metals, ·increasing the strength of the press fit,
·high strength and temperature requirements up to 175 °C, ·sealing surfaces in components made of bonded assemblies, preventing over-running, securing bearings and rotors to shafts, restoring proper fit in worn assemblies with clearances up to 0.1 mm in diameter. on shafts, eliminating shocks in worn cylinder assemblies, preventing bearings from spinning, securing rotor bearings in miniature motors, securing sleeves in housings and on shafts, etc.
Loctite 640 can be successfully used wherever high strength and sufficient time for assembly are required, for example with large diameters.

LOCTITE 641 is designed for bonding cylindrical assembly parts, especially on components that must be dismantled later for maintenance. The product cures in the gap in the absence of air between closely adjacent metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leaks caused by shocks and vibrations. Ideal for parts that require subsequent dismantling, e.g. a bearing on a shaft or a bearing in a housing.
