Loctite 577 is a special non-toxic sealant designed for sealing pipe threads up to M80 / R3 inch. It is a top-notch, one-component, anaerobic-curing, medium-strength thread sealant designed for sealing water, gas, compressed air, propane-butane and other gases or liquids. Loctite 577 cures without air in the joint and resists vibration and shock and is particularly suitable for stainless steel materials. Loctite 577 thread sealant is non-toxic, as certified by the Gas and Water Board. This top product offers a great solution in many areas of gas, water, manufacturing and industry:
· thread locking even at low temperatures,
· thread bonding even on passive surfaces,
joints using common tools,

LOCTITE 577 is designed for securing and sealing metal pipes and threaded pipe fittings. This product provides an immediate low-pressure seal for metal pipes during assembly. There is no twisting, shrinkage or clogging of systems due to peeling. It is suitable for rapid application at low temperatures. It has excellent temperature and chemical resistance and offers less product run-off after application to parts. It tolerates slightly oily surfaces.
