Loctite 574 is a special acrylic flat gasket for rigid flanges (orange sealing paste) for tight-fitting connections of smaller metal surfaces in joints up to 0.25 mm. This flange gasket is designed for steel, aluminum, cast iron, has medium strength of the bonded joint, but at the same time is easily removable if necessary. Loctite 574 flat gasket is suitable for industrial bonding, where it is required:

LOCTITE 574 seals joints between rigid metal surfaces and flanges. The product cures in the gap in the absence of air between closely adjacent metal surfaces. It provides resistance to low pressures immediately after assembly. It is primarily used as a surface seal on rigid flange joints that are formed on site. The thixotropic nature of LOCTITE 574 limits the product from running off after application to the material. It is very oil resistant and provides excellent resistance to water and glycol.
