Loctite 55 is a general purpose thread sealant that is wound directly from the package onto the pipe thread in the form of a cord. It is supplied in ready-to-use packages in which it is stored and from which it is applied directly. It is recommended for sealing conical and cylindrical threads on metal and plastic pipes and fittings up to 4 inches in size. This principle allows for immediate use of the sealing cord with the possibility of a small rewind to adjust the correct position. Loctite 55 sealing thread is used by fitters and installers all over the world and the ready-to-use package, which allows for quick and easy use, cannot be praised enough. />- permanent contact with drinking water,
