Loctite 5188 is a high-performance anaerobic gasket sealant that is extremely flexible and meets the latest anaerobic gasketing technology. It can withstand micro-movements on highly stressed flanges and rigid metal flange connections. The single-component acrylate Loctite 5188 has a high viscosity, medium strength and can withstand low pressure immediately after assembly and installation of the flanges.Loctite 5188 sealant cures in a thin gap in the absence of air and is particularly suitable for aluminum surfaces, where it achieves very good adhesion. Its typical properties and advantages include:
