Loctite 272 is a premium high-strength locking adhesive designed for the permanent locking, fastening and sealing of large threaded joints. This thixotropic red-orange threadlocker is resistant to high temperatures, cures without air in the joint and prevents loosening or leakage of the joint caused by vibrations and shocks.
Loctite 272 acrylic adhesive is specially developed for high-strength sealing M80:
·medium viscosity,
·resistance to shock and vibration,·increased heat resistance up to +230 °C,·curing at room temperature (without oxygen access),
·dismantling of the threaded joint when heated locally to 250 °C.

• Clean the bonded parts thoroughly with 0GO ERGO 9 cleaner 150 ml package 150 ml LOCTITE 272 is a red methacrylate-based threadlocker with medium viscosity and high strength. Handling strength on steel 10 min., on brass 5 min. and on stainless steel 15 min., it is ideal for applications where the adhesive must be prevented from leaking from the joint. Tolerates light contamination with industrial oils. Suitable for all metal joints. The loosening torque for M10 screws is 23 Nm.
