Loctite 271 is a single-component, red acrylic adhesive for high-strength locking of small screws, nuts and thread seals that can be removed if necessary. This low-viscosity acrylic product is suitable for use as an adhesive on stainless steel materials where easy fluid flow into the joints is required.
Loctite 271 Threadlocker is shock and vibration resistant and cures at room temperature without access to oxygen. Typically used for locking and sealing screws and bolts up to M25:

Before applying Loctite adhesives, we recommend cleaning the parts with Loctite 7063 or Loctite 7061 joint cleaner. At temperatures below 5 °C, use the activator beforehand.

  LOCTITE 271 is a red methacrylate-based threadlocker with low viscosity and high strength. Handling strength on steel 10 min., on brass 5 min. and on stainless steel 15 min. Tolerates slight contamination with industrial oils. Suitable for all metal joints. The loosening torque for M10 screws is 26 Nm. Fluorescent under UV light.
