Loctite 270 is the best-selling high-strength threadlocker for permanently securing and sealing small threaded connections. This anaerobic threadlocker is ideal not only for preventing self-loosening of nuts and bolts, but also for use on inactive surfaces. It is used wherever it is required that screwed connections never become loose.
Loctite 270 threadlocker cures without air access and prevents loosening or leakage of the connection caused by vibration and shock, and has increased temperature resistance. Typically meets a number of requirements for wide industrial use:
·maximum resistance to hot oil,·use on passive metals and chrome-plated surfaces,·permanent fastening and sealing of screws up to M20,
·increased temperature resistance and slight contamination of bonded parts with oil,
engine blocks and pump housings.

  LOCTITE 270 is a high-strength threadlocker for maximum efficiency in securing and sealing screws, nuts and bolts. It prevents loosening caused by vibrations. This product is designed to permanently secure assemblies where loosening is not allowed. It is suitable for all metals, including passive materials such as stainless steel, aluminum and plated surfaces. It tolerates light contamination with industrial oils, e.g. engine oils, anti-corrosion oils and cutting fluids. Disassembly is possible by heating to 300 °C.
