Loctite 241 is an excellent medium strength adhesive for securing and sealing small to medium sized screws and threads. It is specifically designed to lock bolts on less reactive surfaces such as stainless steel or coated and galvanized surfaces. Loctite 241 is a blue, medium viscosity, single component acrylic adhesive that cures by preventing contact with oxygen. The curing process is aided by contact between the adhesive and the metal surface. Loctite 241 locking adhesive offers a wide range of applications in many industrial sectors:
·locking of set screws,
·anaerobic curing without air access, ·adhesive for threaded joints and screws up to M12, ·sealing of joints for steel and galvanized surfaces,
caused by vibrations and impacts.

  LOCTITE 241 is a methacrylate-based threadlocker designed for medium strength applications on small threads. Typical handling strengths are 35, 12 and 240 min. on steel, brass and stainless steel respectively. Offering a low viscosity and a loosening torque of 11.5 Nm, the product is designed for joints that require normal disassembly using common hand tools.
