Loctite 2400 is a medium strength threadlocker used to seal and secure threaded connections. Its main function is to prevent loosening of connections caused by vibration. This product is suitable for all metals and passive materials and also resists light contamination from industrial oils, anti-corrosion oils and cutting fluids.

Loctite 2400 is designed to secure tight connections, but at the same time allow easy disassembly using hand tools. This is especially important in cases where repairs are required, such as machine tools, presses, pumps, compressors, anchor bolts, gearboxes and other applications. Its properties prevent damage to the screws when loosening.

This medium strength threadlocker is ideal for less active surfaces such as stainless steel or plated surfaces where the ability to disassemble for repairs is important.
