Ergo 4451 (Retaining compound – High strength)

Ergo 4451 is a high-performance retaining compound designed for applications requiring the highest static shear strength and resistance to dynamic loads. This fast-curing product is ideal for bonding gears to shafts, connecting rotors and stators in electric motors, for pulleys in belt drives and securing shafts. It is approved for use in food processing facilities according to NSF S5 (formerly P1) and meets NSF ANSI 61 for use in commercial and residential potable water systems with temperatures not exceeding +82°C. against high static shear stress and dynamic load

Application:

Ergo 4451 is ideal for use in industrial applications such as bonding gears, connecting rotors and stators in electric motors, fastening pulleys in belt drives and u. Examples include the automotive industry, machine and plant construction, and industrial plant maintenance.

Use for application:

Instructions for use:

1. Make sure the surfaces are clean, dry and grease-free.

   2. Apply Ergo 4451 to one of the bonded surfaces.

   3. Join the parts and ensure that they are still during curing.

   4. Wait for initial strength to be achieved (2–5 minutes at 23°C).

   5. Functional strength is achieved after 0.5–1 hour, final strength after 2–4 hours.

   Packaging:

   Ergo 4451 is available in various packaging options, including smaller tubes and larger industrial packages for bulk use.

   Storage:

   Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources to maintain the product's properties for 12 months.
