Ergo 4207 Pipe Sealant – Medium Strength – Universal

Ergo 4207 is a universal sealant for threaded pipe joints that provides an instant seal against pressure up to 5 bar. This product is ideal for use on pipes up to 3 inches in diameter in gas and sprinkler systems. It is certified according to DVGW (DIN EN 751-1), WRAS BS 6920 and ANSI/NSF Standard 61 for use in commercial and residential drinking water systems not exceeding +82 °C. It complies with the German Federal Environment Agency Directive of February 11, 2016 for use in contact with drinking water. It is also NSF S2 (formerly P1) listed for use in food processing facilities.

Application:

Ergo 4207 is ideal for use in gas and sprinkler systems where reliable sealing of threaded joints is required. It is suitable for use in drinking water systems and food processing operations.

Typical properties:

- Temperature range: -55 °C -55 °C torque at release: 10 – 20 Nm

- Prevailing torque: 10 – 15 Nm

- Shear strength (DIN EN ISO 10123): 6 – 13 N/mm?

Use an anaerobic adhesive gun for application.

Instructions for use:

1. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of oil and grease.

   2. Apply Ergo 4207 evenly to threads.

   3. Join parts and tighten as necessary.

   4. Allow to cure according to the specified curing times to achieve full strength. P1)

Packaging:

Ergo 4207 is available in a variety of pack sizes, including smaller tubes for easy use and larger packs for industrial applications.

Storage:

Store in a dry, cool place at room temperature. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
