    Ergo 4205 Pipe Sealant with PTFE – Low Strength

    Ergo 4205 is a special sealant designed for sealing tapered or cylindrical threads such as Whitworth threads according to DIN 2999 diameter up to standard. This product forms a flexible film after curing, which reduces friction due to the content of PTFE powder. It is certified according to DVGW (DIN EN 751-1), WRAS BS 6920 and NSF Standard ANSI 61 for use in commercial and residential drinking water systems with a maximum temperature of +82 °C. It is also NSF S2 listed for use in food processing facilities.

    Application: use in drinking water systems, pipe installations and other applications where reliable thread sealing is required. Examples include installations in domestic, commercial and food processing applications.

    Use for application:

    It is recommended to use standard thread tightening tools such as wrenches and torque wrenches to achieve optimum results.

  • Ensure that the thread surfaces are clean and dry.
  • Apply an even coat of Ergo 4205 to the thread.
  • Join the threads and tighten as required.
  • Allow to cure for 15–30 minutes to achieve initial strength. 1 – 3 hours, final strength after 12 hours.

    Storage:
