Ergo 4052, an alternative to Loctite 243, secures threads, nuts and bolts against self-loosening. It is designed to secure and seal threaded joints that are to be removable with common hand tools. The product cures without air access and prevents loosening or leakage of the joint caused by vibrations and shocks. Ergo 4052 is the best-selling lock on the market. It is suitable for less active surfaces such as stainless steel or metal-plated surfaces. The product offers increased temperature resistance and greater tolerance to slightly oily surfaces. The thixotropic nature prevents it from running off the application site. Available packaging: Surface preparation: Clean the bonded parts thoroughly with ERGO 9190 cleaner, 500 ml package. Removal of old adhesive or sealant Loctite SF 7200 - 400 ml. Surface activation: When the adhesive is to be used at temperatures below 5°C or needs to be cured, use solvents Loctite SF 7649 Solvent-free activator Loctite SF 7240. Application: For professional application, it is advisable to use the peristaltic hand gun Loctite 98414.
