Ergo 1665 Methyl Methacrylate Adhesive

Ergo 1665 is a two-component, non-sag, methyl methacrylate adhesive for structural bonding of thermoplastics, metals and composite assemblies. When mixed at a ratio of 10:1 (by volume), it offers a working time of 3 to 6 minutes. It reaches 50% final strength at 23°C in just 15 to 18 minutes. Ergo 1665 is a versatile product for industrial applications involving composites and typically requires no surface preparation. It is often used in industries such as household appliances, advertising panels, traffic sign systems, electronics and electrical engineering, automotive industry, furniture manufacturing, windows and doors, bus, truck, railway and automotive industries, ship and vessel construction.

Application:

Ergo 1665 is ideal for use in industrial applications where a strong and durable bond is required. Use for application:

For optimal application of the product, use an attachment that ensures the correct mixing ratio and a homogeneous mixture.

Instructions for use:

1. Prepare the surface of the materials to be bonded and ensure that they are clean and dry.

   2. Insert the cartridge into the dispensing gun and attach the mixing attachment.

   3. Apply the adhesive to one of the surfaces and immediately bond to the other surface.

   4. Keep the joint still for at least 8 to 13 minutes to achieve initial strength.

   5. Allow to cure for 12 hours at 23 °C to reach final strength.

   Packaging:

   Ergo 1665 is available in 50ml and 490ml cartridges, as well as Resin 1663 in 10 to 15 kg and Hardener 1664 in 2.5 kg to 20 kg.

   at a temperature of 4 - 23 °C. The shelf life is 12 months for a 50ml cartridge and 6 months for a 490ml cartridge. Resin 1663 has a shelf life of 6 months and Hardener 1664 12 months.
