The V-ring is an all-rubber axial, pressureless seal for slipping onto a shaft with an inclined, thin sealing lip that rests on a sealing surface perpendicular to the shaft axis. The V-ring also acts as a splash ring because it is mounted on the shaft with an overlap and rotates with it. The sealing lip prevents lubricant from escaping from the sealed part and provides protection against splash water and any dirt from the outside.Additional parameters
