SKF Explorer bearing 6017 2Z C3 - non-separable single row radial ball bearing with a steel cage guided by balls with a non-contacting sheet metal seal on both sides and with a higher radial clearance than normal. The cover plates of the 6017-2Z C3 bearing are pressed into the grooves of the outer ring and fit against the smooth inner ring. The 6017 2Z C3 bearing is designed for mounting with a rotating inner ring and is filled with high-quality lubricant with a temperature range from -40 °C to +100 °C for the entire service life of the bearing. If the outer ring rotates, lubricant may leak at higher speeds. SKF 6017 Explorer class bearings represent a new group of high-performance rolling bearings, offering significant improvements in key operating parameters such as noise, vibration, heat generation, operational reliability, dynamic load capacity and are manufactured to dimensional accuracy class P6.
