Ponal Standard

Ponal Standard is a high-quality glue based on PVAc synthetic resin, designed for gluing wood. It is ideal for assembly, joint and surface gluing without causing discoloration of the wood, including wood species containing tannin. After drying, the glue is transparent and provides high bonding strength, which meets the DIN EN 204 D2 standard. It is suitable for gluing hardwood and other wooden materials. DIN EN 204 D2

Application:

Ponal Standard is ideal for assembly bonding (pin, groove and tongue, tenon and mortise), joint bonding (solid wood, plywood), surface bonding, laminated boards made of pressed materials, pressed wood. Properties:

Use plastic glue spatulas, hand glue roller or glue application machine when applying. For hardwood, it is advisable to apply on both sides.

Coverage:

Consumption approx. 150 to 200 g/m² depending on the absorbency of the substrate.

Instructions for use:

1. Prepare the glued surfaces so that they are flush and clean. Wash special woods, such as teak, with solvents (acetone).

2. Ensure that the wood moisture is around 8 to 12%.

3. Apply Ponal Standard glue on one side with the recommended tool.

4. For hardwood, apply on both sides.

5. Avoid contact of the glue with tools containing iron.

6. Clean tools with cold water after application.

Storage:

Store in a dry place at temperatures between +5 and +30 °C. The processing time is 12 months from the date of production.
