The 24 x 2 O-ring is a rubber seal designed to prevent the loss of liquid or gas. The sealing ability depends not only on the O-ring, but also on the installation space. The O-ring is an annulus, a ring with a circular cross-section. The installation space, usually a groove, serves to accommodate the O-ring. The connection of the O-ring elements and the sealed space creates a seal.

The material FPM - fluororubber is suitable for mineral oil environments, good resistance to ozone and chemicals, aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons, minimal gas permeability. Resistance to hot water and steam up to 180 °C. The O-ring size is given as the inner diameter d1 x d2 thickness.
