Molykote P-74 is an excellent, almost universal metal-free lubricating paste for threads and screws (thread paste with solid lubricants), which is used for a wide range of metal joints.
Molykote P-74 thread paste is most often used for lubricating screw joints, where it excels in ·high pressure load capacity,
·metal-free thread paste,·prevention of cracking and brittleness,
·friction coefficient as for oil-lubricated screws,
·thread lubricant for screw joints with preload,·wide temperature range from -00 °C dry lubrication.
Molykote P-74 metal-free thread paste is used for lubricating screw joints, plain bearings, plain guides, guide pins, press-fit joints, etc. It is intended for a very wide range of industries: chemical, paper or automotive, where it is used to lubricate exhaust bolts, spark plug threads, flanges and flange joints, hinged doors, brake mechanisms, leaf springs, etc., but it is also used, for example, as a lubricant in the production of plastics and wood processing.
