Molykote D-106 is an excellent metal lubricant (a heat-curing dry lubricant with solid MoS2 lubricating particles) designed for smooth painting and coating of metal/metal material combinations. Molykote D-106 is ideal for highly stressed friction surfaces operating at low or fluctuating speeds.
Molykote D-106 sliding varnish enables maintenance-free and permanent lubrication and is used especially where it is not possible to use oils or lubricating greases, or wherever it is required>
·overcoatability of sliding varnish,·high load-bearing capacity of sliding surfaces,·good adhesion and maintenance-free lubrication of metals,
·eliminating the undesirable risk of clogging of the sliding surface with dirt.
Molykote D-106 sliding varnish is successfully used, for example, for dry lubrication of shafts, non-seizing surfaces of engine parts and gears.
